What should I bring with me the day of my Medical Exam?
Your printed medical exam form if possible
A list of any chronic conditions you currently have
A list of current medications you take
Any current medical DOT waivers you may have. ( example - sleep disorder / cpap use)
Please hydrate before your visit to give an adequate urine sample for testing.

How long will this take?
We strive to make this as easy and stress free as possible while still administering a comprehensive exam. Expect your visit to last 30-45 minutes.
Do I have to take a drug test?
Only if it's required by your employer.
What is this exam?
A comprehensive physical exam to ensure you meet DOT requirements. We will check your blood pressure, blood sugar (urine test), hearing, vision, basic neurological functions, weight, and any other items required for your exam. The exam is not a stressful experience.
What if I fail this exam?
In the event you have a medical condition that prevents you from passing this exam, we will discuss your options at the time of your exam results. There are several options available for a DOT driver who is treating a chronic condition. We will be happy to discuss these needs with you if necessary.
Do I have to get naked for this exam?
No, loosely fit clothing usually will suffice.
How long is my card good for?
2 years typically but it may be shorter if you are under care for certain medical conditions.
